I'm married to Bobby.  He came to see my sister who played piano!  He got a pianist for the quartet and I got a husband!  Married since 1956.

Children:  Dale, born 1960, has one daughter (at Auburn) and is Associate Chairman of the Music Department at UAB, AL.  She is also organist at Vestavia Hills Methodist Church.  Mark was born 1964.  He and Ladan have a young son.  They live at Brookhaven, GA.  He is in Real Estate and Development.  He was Church Pianist for 28 years.

In my leisure time, I enjoy music and reading, along with travel, seeing places of interest Bobby has chosen!

I was born in Auburn, GA, Barrow County, and grew up there.

Siblings: One deceased brother.  One sister in Birmingham, AL (Church Organist)

Interesting places I've visited include the vacations I've been on with Bobby!  Places I'd like to see, but haven't yet, include the next one Bobby chooses.  We've visited 32 US states, Canada (Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec), and Central America (Aruba and Mexico).  Down Under, we've been to Australia and New Zealand.  In Africa, we've safaried to Botswana, South Africa, and Zambia.  In Europe, we've survived the language barriers in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Liechtenstein, Norway, Russia, Scotland, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and Wales.  Bobby likes to visit new places each time we travel, so we don't tend to see most destinations a 2nd time. 

I'm an Atlanta import, officially, despite being born nearby.  Bobby was instrumental in my move to metro Atlanta.  I've lived in Georgia all my life.

I accepted Christ at Camp Glisson Methodist Camp when I was 14.

Memorable events include my marriage, two children, the death of President Kennedy, a heart attack in 1999, and our move to Ammersee in 2004.

My favorite music artists include Glenn Miller and any big band music.

Miscellaneous: We are happy we found a "Little Smoke Rise" when we moved from Stone Mountain.  It was difficult to imagine moving our letters after attending Smoke Rise almost 30 years.
